Description
This 1/F apartment of Village House is located in Ham Tin, practical and convenient home to sale. It is quiet, close to transport links, a short walk to the beach and close to the hiking trails of Lantau.
There are two good sized bedrooms with a shared bathroom, a separate kitchen, a living / dining room area leading on to full length balcony with green views.
Location & Surrounding
The house is located in HamTin. The famous Pui O Beach is just five minutes walk away (See below). The district of Pui O is made up of four main villages — Lo Wai, San Wai, Lo Uk and Ham Tin and is famous for hosting the largest population of Water Buffalo of any district in Hong Kong.
There are international schools and primary schools in the area, as well as the famous Pui O Beach. The beautiful surroundings of rolling hills, trees, trails and beaches make living in the area a dream–come–true for nature lovers and families keen to give their children a natural outdoor environment in which to grow up.
Pui O Beach
‘The beautiful, remote location of Pui O Beach, with its long stretch of soft golden sand at the edge of tree-covered rolling hills, means it is not as widely known as some of the beaches on Hong Kong Island. Yet it attracts many devotees — including day-tripper swimmers, novice surfers looking to hone their skills and families with young children keen to show off their sandcastle-building abilities.
You are also likely to spot some of the area’s most famous residents, water buffaloes. Make sure you stay late enough at the beach to watch the gorgeous sunset.
It’s a magical time for relaxing with friends and taking stunning Instagram-worthy photographs that is best enjoyed while sipping a bottle of local craft beer and munching on a burger. Right on the beachfront you will find a restaurant and bar, and a fast-food kiosk. You can also buy refreshments — and beach equipment — at a few local shops located along the paths leading from the bus stop to Pui O Beach. There are also some shops and restaurants along South Lantau Road at three nearby villages — Lo Uk Tsuen, Sun Wai Tsuen and Lo Wai Village.’

Hiking & Natural Surroundings
The hiking trails on Lantau need no introduction, and there is plenty of choice starting out from Pui O village. Whether you are walking, running or biking, you will find a tapestry of trails to explore in a part of Hong Kong that is rarely seen by visitors or long term city residents.
From the village there are a number of options for you to access, including the Lantau Trail and Chi Ma Wan. For the more adventurous there is some excellent coasteering routes that are easily accessible from the village as well. Not sure what coasteering entails ? Have a look on ‘google’ and if adventure is your thing, you are in the right place.
